Default Annoying problem

I'll just start where I noticed something was wrong.

Yesterday I was accelerating from a stop light in 1st, when at about 3k, my car stopped accelerating. It felt like it ran out of gas (my gauge says I have 1/3 tank left). I immediatly shifted to 2nd and kept accelerating and everything was fine. Accelerated from the next stoplight and the same thing happened. I immediatly shifted to 2nd and found that wasn't helping any. No matter how far I put my foot into the pedal, my car just acted like it was out of gas. Luckily I was able to coast into a parking lot.

Today I replaced cap & rotor and tried a few things. It came down to my plugs not firing and my fuel pump not priming. When I turned the ignition on, absolutely no fuel came out of the line going into the fuel filter. I would start the car (very hard to start), and it would run for a second or so, then die. Is it possible that the entire prolem is being caused by a faulty Main Relay? I'm stumped, so any input is appreciated.

I hade the same problem in my 3rd gen accord. I checked all of my grounds and replaced my main relay and it fixed my problem.

I'll be picking one up tomorrow. I'm thinking about running down to the gas station and getting some in a gas can. That would suck if my gauge was off and I'm just out of gas.

Anybody else?

I am having the same problem and i think it is your main relay. I have to go pick one up to make sure, but it sounds like that might be the problem

So I went to Honda today. If I order a main relay from them, it'll be here next wednesday.

Anybody else have any luck with theirs?
