grinding or squeaking noise coming from clutch in an 04 Civic LX sedan

Its probably the ball joint on the fork. Front right corner of the engine, there's a cylindrical boot with a slit in it. The joint is in there. it gets wet and the ball corrodes. Honda should be able to take care of it under warranty. Otherwise, just grease it up in there.
