yes i know this has been talked about before. I did a search. But here is the difference in my post.

When I had my civic, I got a set of replica foglights from friend's car. And when we plugged it in, the fog lights were able to come on with just parking lights. Any thoughts to as why? maybe cause of the bootleggedness of the replicas haha?

it jsut hit me that for some people who what their fogs with their parking lights. mayeb we can figure soemthign out abotu teh replicas and make it work for the OEM ones.

 

i have replicas and they come on with the parking and headlights. and i kind of dont understand you ?

 

the replicas wire up a little differently than the real ones do. they require you to plug the harness into one of the slots in the fuse box. just use a multimeter or test light to find a slot that has power when you want them to come on. mine are wired to an accessory slot iirc so i can turn them on and off without any other lights having to be on, but they shut off when i turn the car off.
