mini-me specifics.
Hey all. To all you mini-me guys and girls out there; I have two questions.
I am doing an OBD-1 conversion, so this means that I need a 4-wire o2 sensor. Is there any specific car I should buy one from? It makes sense to just buy one from the 92-95 Civic Si, but I just wanted to make sure.
I also have a z6 dizzy. I found an adapter that connects the block harness of the A6 block (my SI) to my new z6 dizzy, as they are not compatable. Is this completely neccessary, or could it be done with minimal wiring? (installing my VTEC dizzy to my a6 block).
and actually, one more thing. I am almost positive that the oil jet in the top of the a6 block needs to be removed, as it will create too much oil pressure with the VTEC head. I am just confirming that I do need to remove it.
please only experienced responses.
thanks,
Adam.

Yes remove the oil jet on the a6 block as the z6 head already has one..You wont have vtec if you leave it in
Yes you can get a 02 made for the 92-95 civic si/ex..
You dont need that dizzy adapter but it does help if you're not to good with wiring,,Because changes are needed to the pre obd plug to work with the obd1 dizzy..There are some writeups on honda-tech somewhere

What do you mean? Distributors bolt onto heads and not blocks. If you have a z6 head, the z6 distributor will easily bolt up to it.
As far as wiring the distributor, just use this: http://rywire.com/store/produc...ac98c

ohhh I forgot that the dizzy just connects to the head. That clears up something for me then. Because I have a z6 head, it will just bolt right up. Excellent. as for wiring the ECU and 4 wire 02 sensor, could someone link me to the thread that tells me how to wire those ?
