im having a problem installing the NMU. its for a b18b motor. i connect the blk wires to ground, the red wire to arming switch, the other end of switch to accessory 12 volt (cig light), and the wire into the pin d11 tps sensor voltage.

i turned on the ignition to on, flip the switch, then depress the button then release. the light doesnt stay solid red so i can program it.

question is, is the connection is bad on the tps sensor or something else to it????

 

the last wet kit i did, we had to send back the nmu. it was bad. and it was doing the same thing. not going into learn mode.

 

so i got a bad nmu. i have to hold down the button to see the light goes on, once i let it go, its off

 

is there a way i can bypass it , by connecting a push button between the white wires that goes the the tps

 

anyway i can do to make the unit work even if i cant do the WOT on it. can i just do a push button and it will still work
