How often do you see another S2K while driving?
Just curious. Since Ive been considering one, I seem to see quite a few every day driving to and from work.
I dont feel like I see nearly as many Vettes on my drive.

i was just asking A question myself
... you're the one whos being defensive and assume things right now ...

it all depends on the area... where i'm at.. i usually see at least one a day... sometimes more.... but further south and to the west of me... i never see them...
If you've got nothing useful to say, you can move on.
Ive got no desire to play "who's is bigger" with you.

I've always found though when I start to get into a car, whether looking to buy one or I've worked with different car models with my job, I always seem to notice that car more on the street. Almost like since its on your mind more. And especially the little details about the way the body lines flow and the way features blend into each other.

I work about 30 miles from where I live and I see, on average, 2-3 per direction per day. I suspect that I'm seeing the same 1 or 2 but they're pretty popular where I'm at.(Dallas) and in the suburb I live in (allen, tx.) There are probably a dozen there. I also agree with Stallion....
i saw an ap1 this morning on my way to work suprisingly. I see about 2 or 3 a week. and they're usually ap1's. i'm assuming they're all in the garage during the rain. All of them are guys. We need more females, ya know what i'm sayin?
I think Stallion has a point... I have also noticed more 350Zs too since Ive been looking at those as well. Im probably just noticing them more because Im considering buying one.
AP2ChiCK- I think Id rather see more females in general but being a pig, Id have to fear for my safety while driving with more women on the roads. (J/K) :D

I have to admit I contribute to others thinking Asians cant drive but that only happens when the windows are down since they're tinted. It's hard to not drive fast when the freeways are fairly straight and open.
But I suppose being from Central (Hill Country) Texas, Im about as redneck as an Asian guy can get so I blame it all on "The Man"!

I think my local area must have somethig to do with it as well then. I probably see 5+ daily regardless if Im driving to work or to the store.

You'd be surprised.... but I suppose you're right in that you dont see very many '00 Vettes selling for under $24-25k. While at the same time, I been able to find some low mileage '04 S2000s in that price range.
I suppose it all just depends on if you're looking at strictly the $$$ or if you're also considering the age of the car compared to the $$$.

The Vette is a nice car, but it does what it does with more power, more grip, albeit more weight. If my S was on 265/295s and had 350whp, I'm sure it could shame some Vettes.
I'm starting to see a lot more S's as well. I don't even notice vettes anymore, just S's.

I think you've just described the 911 Carrera S
The S and the Vette are both nice cars built for different purposes. If there's an easy way to get 295s on the back of an S, you'd all be running 16psi TT setups
Speaking of.... has anyone tried to tub an S to get some more meat to the road?

Its like an epidemic around here in socal. Ive noticed alot when I was considering my purchase, but now they are everywhere. Just now on my way to work I got next to one of the new blue ones. Beautiful color in person.
But all in all, the S is still not as abundant as... say the 350 or G35s. But then again go to a Nissan dealer and you can see a color parade of 350s/G35s. Go to a Honda dealer, you'd be lucky to see 2 in different colors.
