Default 97 acura cl service connector location

anyone know where the service connector is on a 97 acura cl? got a check engine and i want to try and find out what it is before i go to the dealer and pay out the ***.....

yea, its there. no im not being a smartass. i didnt think it was there considering on my civic and integra, its on the pass floor side. i just thought it would be around that area also. is there a way to jump it and check codes like you can on civics/integras?

Truthfully I can't answer that one. Working at Acura, whenever a car comes in with a CEL, we just use the HDS, which of course hooks up to the 16 pin DLC. I don't know if the older CLs/TLs still had the plug that you (and I, since I've owned 92 tegs) are used to. I'm going to go with a no, most likely. But if I remember I'll check on Monday at work. Good luck until then getting the code!

yea, i got the code. its P0740....forgot exactly what my friend told me it was but it mainly had something to do with the torque convertor, basically my girl needs a new trans.....

For future reference, the location of the DLC connector on OBD2 hondas is on a label. The label is on the bottom side of the steering column cover.
