Captain's Log!
Just another project log.. I picked up this beaut' way down in Germany on the 01.01.06. I'm a retard when it comes to cars, so I'll prob'ly be asking questions in this thread whenever I break something.

A hell of a ride. Day after New Years eve, weren't feelin' too good to begin with, and I had to ride several trains for 10 hours, waited on stations for 3 hours and the purchase took another hour, and then I had to ride the car all the way back home for another 8 hours. I was knackered. So much bad **** happend on the way, but don't wanna bore you with the details.
She's a lady from October '92 'n she's run roughly 89.500km after the 750km drive home, which would be somewhere in the late 59.000 miles.

There's not a spot of rust to be found on her, previous owner claimed it'd been garage-kept 'n only driven for fun in the summer, and although he was a bit of a dousche, I'm inclined to believe him. Not even the sunroof shows any signs of beginning rust, top or bottom.
She came with a tiny Momo Team steering wheel, KW-adjustables, fake Type R **** 'n a shitty Tenzo R handbrake handle. Also, the Pioneer Navigation HU saved my *** on the way home. Other than that, there's just a custom stainless exhaust and the noname rims.
I had an ED9 in mint condition, with low milage also, before this one and I'd bought a ****-load of stuff for that one. I'll (hopefully) be adding that over the next few months. I'll post up the stuff if anyones interested.. Thanks for reading.
Just a tiny tech question.. When swapping out valve covers, there's nothing in particular to watch out for? Yes, I shouldn't be let near a car like this

Yes - do not overtighten the valve cover bolts/nuts. It is very very common for people to overtighten them and break them off. Remember, they are only supposed to be tightened to 7 lb-ft (9.5 Nm) of torque.

Thanks for the compliments.
Shevlin: Yeah, it's supposedly a Laguna lip. That's all I know. Luckily, it's pretty flexible, since I'm hitting everything at the moment. Damn lowering
Here's a close-up, sorta.

I've got Wings West side skirts 'n rear bumper in storage, which I bought for the ED9. And my VisRacing Mugen style front bumper just hit the airport the other day
Crxluv2: Sadly, I've no idea what rims they are. They'll be swapped out by summer anyways.
flatblkCR-X: At work right now, so no pics of the cockpit. Here's a link for the HU, tho'. http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/p....html
Targa250R: Thanks for the heads up, I'll let a friend do it instead
crxforum: Hah, nowhere near your ride. That Mugen-mobile is 80% of the reason I got this car.
pr3d: There's no AC in the European version, at least not stock. It might've been an extra factory option, but not sure.

beyoundspecs: Cheers, greatest recognition a Honda-owner can get
Cyclonium: Thanks for clearing that up, maybe I should start an export business with those lips
bumblezc: Sorry, mate, I think the Mugen-style kit makes the CRX even more sexy. I've been dyin' to get it on.
As a joke, I was gonna say I planned on stripping and Auto-X'ing the hell out of it, just to see the reaction of the fanatics

Slight update. Just pulled out the tiny gocart Momo wheel 'n threw this on instead.

The original button is a bit worn 'n won't click into the adapter plate, so reckon I'll hafta get a new one.

Ya nice lip alright. Came in two styles the older had no vents and was more or less the same as a lude lip. The newer one is the one you have.
I do like them and imo are one of the best on a sir/vt front but unfortunately every man and his dog has one now over here on their honda or any other make for that matter.
A lip off a Renault Espace is also similar but is a bit taller if i remember correctly
