Default downshifting

hey guys...i was wondering what gear would most downshift to if you were in 5th gear and at around 50-60mph to get the most out of the downshift?

I have a 4th gen w/jdm h22 and tranny. with the gearing I can definatly downshift to third at 50-60mph safely. just make sure you rev match.

Yep 3rd gear.

Hm. My best downshifting point is at a 40mph roll - I shift to 2nd and i'm gone.

You should know your car though.

I've got a 93 VTEC too, go 3rd, but make sure you dont just drop it, do what kulrevon said....rev match.....

Did someone wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?
I like the feel of it on the car. I have my 6puck clutch and my fidanza flywheel - just feels good. Its not like I smash out everywhere I go, I barely drive my car as it is......I think i replaced my clutch like 3 months ago - and it only has maybe 600 miles on it.

I never said it made me "GO FASTER" this isn't the damn fast and the furious. Its just my taste - whats wrong with that?
