Ive been browsing here now for a little bit, and trying to gather some info on the 06 SI, I got some questions answered fairly easily by reading a few threads..and ive been interested in the new si. I went down to honda today and got a test drive and I was pretty impressed..it handled well, and imo felt about the same as an rsx type-s. So I told my guy at the dealership to let me know when the black w/ navi was in, and he then got on the pc and did a search for me.. he said there are only going to be 600 civic si's in all of california for the year 2006..so now i think my chances of getting it in black w/navi are very slight..oh well im not sure if this is true, but i saw him go onto there system, and search for all Si's in CA..and it only showed about 600 total..

 

i went yesterday to get a status on mine and they said that honda was having problems with the navi delaer and was not allocating any right now so i am just getting the fiji blue that had with the body kit and 18's

 

I'm guessing the dealer lied to encourage you to take the car they had in stock. If you don't want it, either wait for the car you do want or go to a different dealer.

 

Nah that dealer wasnt lying to me, he is a good friend, and also the same guy i got my car from..I would go else where but im still on lease and its through them. I guess im going to wait for a black/or gray w/ navi. Im getting anxious though.. he told me to just come back at the end of the month and will go from there.

 

the guy wasnt lying every dealer is only goin to get like 15 for a year i have a long time family friend at a honda dealer i dont think he would lie to me he doesnt have to i already got my 06 SI the way i wanted it
