My friend has a 89' CRX with a 89' ZC 1.6 DOHC Integra motor. This is his problem:

"this thing is driving me crazy. its running like ****.. it idles funny and back fires like crazy when its just sitting there. i replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plugs, and wires and it didnt changed ****. anyone have any input?"

HELP anyone?

timing maybe anyother symptoms?

 

anything else u can think of? Please help everyone. the timing was fine last time at the track and he hasnt driven it since.

all those symptoms that you are describing sounds like the timing is all messed up... even if it was running alright last time i dont think that it would hurt to just check yah???
maybe your friends tdc is out of sync...
