FS/T: 90 Prelude Si. CHEAP. Runs well, drives nice, good tires, great daily/winter car...
I need to sell this car. I know someone on here needs or knows someone that needs a cheap *** reliable car. This car is located in Dubuque IA. For those of you that don't know, that is on the borders of Wisconsin and Illinois. I may even be willing to meet halfway, depending on where you are.
About the car:
Mechanically, this is a very solid car. Very dependable, and, unlike most $600 cars, it doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart. Interior is like brand new, everything works great, including heat and AC. Car was not modified at all, and overall is in good mechanical condition. Clutch is good, brakes are good, suspension is nice and tight, drives straight down the road, it has good tires, no grinds on the trans at all, shifts very smooth, and starts every time. Brand new alternator 2 weeks ago, new belts, car was maintained very well by me and the previous owners. The bad: As you can see in the pics, the passenger side rear quarter is kinda messed up. Otherwise the body is in overall good shape, minus some rust under the fuel door. The floors are all very solid, as is everywhere else. It has high miles, 235k, but like I said, it was maintained very well. It does use some oil, which is very typical for these cars, and nothing to really worry about. It also has a small crack in the windshield, but nothing too noticeable. The exhaust is also somewhat leaky, but not loud at all.
I just used it to get through a hard time, and now need to sell it because it is in the way of me getting a different car. I still drive this car every day, and it has not let me down yet.
Pictures:
Yeah, this is the damage. It's really not that bad. No suspension touched whatsoever. And no, the bumper does not rub on the tire. Ever.
$650 OBO. Feel free to make some offers!!
