Default AP1 AP2 Body

im currently in the market for an s2k...heres what i found..and what i haveto decide with

2000 s2k bone stock
39,000 miles...for 16,000 dollars

2004 s2k bone stock
15,000 miles...for 20,000 dollars

both are fairly immaculate..beautiful cars..i like the more aggressive nature of the AP1's...but my concern is...does the ap2 have a larger more broader body size than the ap1?...i dont want a smaller looking car..i'd hate to resemble a miata..im a fairly large man ( )..anyways...im reading up on these differences...primarily searching this forum here..BUT...they dont explain HOW the differences are..for example...it is constantly stated that there are headlight and rear light differences..and interior differences...but that doesnt really answer the question...i want to know HOW..are the ap2 interiors comfier?..is the ap2 larger structurally?...i know about the performance differences like suspension and engine..and how the ap1 has more of an edge while the ap2 is more everyday friendly and somewhat more "practical"...i'll shut up now...just wanted to know if anyone would take a few minutes out of their day to really point out the aesthetic differences..im having a hard time grasping them..thanks

alot of people have said to me about my new car, because they are use to seeing my ap1...

the interior in the ap2 is a little roomier...the suspension is softer...

my ap2 is a little louder than my ap1 was...

great cars either way. just drive them both, i would get the ap2

As far as you being a big guy, both of the cars are the exact same as far as interior room. The main changes from AP1 and AP2 are: different bumpers, wheels, suspension tweeks, LED tail lights, motor of course(2.2 instead of 2.0), mufflers and tips, and minor interior changes. But if you can honestly pick up an 04 for 20k, pick that bitch up!!!! Although, Buyer Be Ware, that's almost too good to be true.

With that mileage on an AP2...something is either WAY wrong or you're dealing with a true idiot. That car is still worth WELL more than that, and even at auction, you'd be hard pressed to find such a deal with a clean title.

If you know what to look for, give that car a run through with a fine toothed comb. If you don't know what to look for, bring someone that does. If you have any doubts, bring the car to Honda for a complete diagnostic.

with 4000 dollars, i would go with 04 with low miles because its not going to affect ur monthly payment much for 4k in 4-5 yrs...but then again, its up to u since i dont know ur financial status...in addition to this, with 04, theres quite a few changes...and spending 4k on it will not make ur 03 look like 04...just think bout the big difference of displacement
