Default Civic Hatch Water Leak In Trunk

I have searched for peeps who care and only found numerous threads on crx leaks but few on hbs. I have an 89 Si w/ of course a sunroof. I have checked and made sure all my tubes are clear and free of debris to clog them up.

I was wondering if any of you know the cause for having a puddle in your trunk area after rain? This last rain storm owned me.

I also recently had my windshield replaced, them morons left it so it leaks all over the pass seat. I have already taken it back once and they just put more sealer stuff where i told them it was leaking. The rain came once more this week and still leaking.

Can anyone suggest any good type of window sealer for me to do this myself? Thanks in advance.

It's a crx, but mine leaked around the lights, you might as well check yours too. I just chopped out the bottom of the seals rather then getting new ones, just let's it drain rather ten build and leak.

I took my back plastic thing off and saw a water deposit trail coming from the light hole (you may or may not see it, I missed it for like an hour of searching) and then took my light off from that side and saw that my gasket was really chewed up on top so that it would leak into the main part and get trapped. The only place it had to go from there was into the spare tire well and smell like a moldy wet dog in an old basement.

First replace the taillight gaskets first. I had a problem where the drain tubes exited out into the rear wheel wells were clogged with mud causing backup and flooding. If you didn't check those tubes, they are behind the plastic panels in the rear of the hatch, tubes are located right inside the body work to the rear of the wells.
