welding fenders together.... what kind of welder should I buy???? pls help ASAP!

HARBOR FREIGHT 220 VOLT, 130 TIG/90 ARC WELDER INVERTER

what one should I buy to use for welding a rsx half fender to a eg half fender? thin metal. Im also looking to use it in the furture for other projects, like welding on a exhuast and what not. shave doors possibly? please help me out and let me know which one would be more use. Thanks HT members in advance!

neither...

youll probably need a nicer tig to handle that.

this project sounds a little odd. care to show us a pic of what youre talking about if you got the idea from anywhere?

he is prolly talking about welding an integra fender to a civic fender or something like that. becuase he is doing a front end conversion.

im doing a rsx front end conversion on a eg, i know both welders are not something a pro would use but im just seeing which would work better and im on a low buget so anything under 350 would be great. lmk thanks

its hard to weld thin metal with a crappy machine...

i guess go with the hobart, and get a gas setup. then weld and grind weld and grind.

start off with tacking it, then weld in the middle.

do you have a pic of someone whos done this before...that seems like it would look really bad...

have saw a guy on craigslist saleing his but its a ek 4 door ... i have a eg i just need to take couple spots and fiberglass the rest and body fill it. i dont really need to weld it competely together just like spot/tack welds. thanks for the help

ya its just to much trouble and time... i was going to do it but to think about it, probaby wont look that great and to much money..... well i guess ill have to fine me a stock eg hatchback bumper and hood. since i dont have neither. need car painted before feb. Thanks everyone. this can be closed!

yea man that front end conversion wouldnt look right. but if you decide to buy a welder dont buy a cheap one. a good mig is fine for 95 percent of the stuff you will do.
