if the battery and starter are good.. then check your ignition (cap, rotor, plugs, wires...etc..)

if you have to have it working by tomorrow, i suggest you try to push start it.. (if you have a 5-speed)

it will start EVENTUALLY if i hold the ignition but while its just clicking the motors not turning over... which rules out dizzy, cap, rotor etc... fuel pump primes. push starting works. it has a brand new headgasket and its smoking white really bad which is weird. bad thing is im a mechanic on suzuki's itll look nice push starting my honda to leave. but i gotta do what i gotta do.

this was one of my guess's also but obviously thats working because its sending power to something to click.. also i have power throughout the car when in the ON position the lights work the guages/cel, bat, etc lights work and stuff... dunno if that matters... anyhow i have the dash out and the clicking sound is coming from the engine area as well as the main relay area which on a 93 sol is right by the interior fuse box... the clicking i believe is coming from the interior fuse box actually because i can feel it through the black relay for i think the flashers on the fuse box. all fuses have been replaced... ALL of them

edit also when i try to crank it the rpm guage fluctuates but not high just 1 - 2 grand but the motors not turning over.

Something's wrong with the battery power path. It's nothing wierd, it's just a simple case of power not getting where it should go.

My friend has had the same problem. We thought it was the starter, so we swapped it yesterday, no go. We looked at the grounds on the tranny-frame and a couple by the IM and they were really corroded. We cleaned the **** outta it and it worked.

I know you said you already checked, but triple check it

My friend also had a bad battery test 'good' at the parts store after he tried to jump it and it just clicked away. After everything else checked out, I hooked up the jumpers, ran my car at high idle for about 5 min, and his started right up. New batt, and everything is fine now.

now im wondering if the problem fixed its self how long ill have till it happends again in some odd place where i wont have tools.

any how thanks for all the replys i know grounds can be a pain in the *** i had a turbo d-series i drove all the way to myrtle beach from where i live which is like 4 hours almost with lights fickering and all kinds of weird stuff becaues the grounds were all loose b/c i didnt tighten them after putting the engine in the day before...
