RSR is notorious for being the quietest exhaust on the market. It has very little noise output at idle, even at acceleration, i'm told that you hear it at WOT but not much else.

APEXi on the other hand is your typical catback exhaust. Deep beefy tone, gives it good sound, not fart can. Not raspy either. Hope i helped, let me know if you got questions.

I was in your same position a month ago. I ended up gettin a Apexi WS2 on my 99 Accord 4cyl. I fear exhausts that sound like consitant explosions, since there are so many of those around. I decided to get the Apexi WS2, hearing that many people said it sounds great and is quiet. I just put it on yesterday, got it broken in, and WOW it truely does sound amazing. Can't really hear it when its idling, but you can def. tell you have an aftermarket exhaust since it has this barely noticeable low tone at idle. When I had the shop put it on, they let me hear it before they lowered the car off the ramps, and told me "This is as loud as it is, hope you werent expecting it to be any louder," and I told them "This is exactly what I wanted." Ultimatley, the muffler guy gave me props for not being one of those people who come into a shop with a $20 ebay muffler and buzz the crap out of the streets. If you want, I can get some video clips of it tomorow.

Ill take some tomorow. As for the size, at first I was like damn it looks pretty big. But it grew on me, and looks nice. The 6gen accord is pretty big and wide, so a big muffler doesnt look too bad. If it was on a 95 prelude.. it would look kinda off if you know what I mean lol. But it def. looks nice, and the sound gives me goosebumps. Had alot of props and head turns at parking lots

I just put an Apexi RS system on my car which I got as new old stock from XS Engineering. It was the model before the WS, but it's pretty much the same thing. I love the sound, you don't even notice an aftermarket exhaust is on there. It gave me a slight increase in power, but that may be a placebo effect. The tip is rather large for my taste, but i'm getting used to it. If I had unlimited $, I would go with the RSR, but I got mine brand new for $220, so I'm really happy with it. I can't speak for RSR, since I don't have any experience with them, but Apexi is top-notch stuff. Everything people say about the WS is true. It's quiet, looks great, is well made, and gives noticable power gains. The tip is not too ricey IMO, but it is larger than the RSR which looks stock. Either way, you'll be happy. I'm with you though, I'd rather go stock than have an obnoxious exhaust.

From a visual point IMO the RSR looks alot more stock looking if you paint the tip than the WSII

I"ve got the APexi...the muffler rules, it's such a cool shape, but the piping isnt stainless and it hangs low. I've scraped the muffler and hte piping several times and the piping is starting to rust.

Hanging low and rusting,

But it has an awesome sound to it. The muffler looks great and sounds great.

The piping on the WS2 is steel wrapped in titanium, just like the stock piping. So if you dont live in conditions where it snows and rains all the time, you should be good. I know people who have their WS2's for a few years now, under somewhat wet conditions, and they have no signs of rust. As for the piping, I look under the car and it isnt really all that low. Of course if I go into a ditch, its going to hit. But if your not ridiculously lowered, you should be good. Usually exhaust pipes rust from the inside out, due to condensation buildup during cold conditions. But that happens in like YEAAARS. I made 2 vids today, one inside and one outiside. They are kinda dark since my camera eats *****, but you can hear and kinda see whats goin on. They are being verified on google video, so i'll post em up when they are ready.

Here is a pic of the beast, I think it looks good. THough im gonna go to the shop and see if I can raise the muffler a bit

Oh, and I def. recommend people to get mudflaps if they dont have them.. cause all the crap I drive over flys on the back/bottom part of the muffler.

Yea, I live in Michigan and Minnesota. It bugs me that the WS AND hte WS2 are NOT stainless steel piping, I paid 471 for a system that's rusting through, i think that's some BS.

And yea ^ my muffler hangs just about as low too, and i'm dropped 1.8" so it's a bitch...

i would agree Apexi does sound nice a buddy of mine got one. i unfortunantly had a Magnaflow Dual tip exhaust which roars loud as hell! (deep not pitchy) but driving down the road my whole mid section broke due to rust so i chucked it and i bought one of those shyts from ebay the tsudo N1 well needless to say u get what u pay for and i was in desperate need of an exhaust so i quickly rushed to one lol on ebay the exhaust sounds deep until it hits like 3500 rpm and an annoying pitching noise
anyways since i added my 2 cents.......
how about GReddy have you looked into their exhaust they are pretty deep
Like an Evo2

to bad they dont make evoTT <3 for accords

good luck on your decision.

My old exhaust....

and the Newbie after i painted the car dont hate on the taillights lol

WSII is an awesome exhaust system! It sounds excellent and the system's styling looks great on an Accord
