I've got 3 codes on my friends 3.2

they are not sure if they have done the recalls on teh vehicle

i got these codes:

P0710
P0730
P0740

i think they haven't done the recall on the car regarding the tranmission. but if they have, and are still gettin these codes, how do they fix them?

 

does the transmission slip or free rev?????? with a code p0730 the transmission will need replaced

 

i was in teh car today....when its started its fine

once u shift out of park into Reverse of Drive, car is still fine, but after that, if u put it into Park or Neutral....the engine goes crazy

its starts revving by itself from 1 -2 rpm and then back down and back up...and smoke comes outta the back of the car (most likely because its cold)

 

if at idle it is reving 1 to 2k the iac may be bad. i have replaced tons of those.

 

if u start it and leave it in park...its fine

when u put it into drive or reverse...its fine

once its in drive or reverse and u put it into neutral or park, THEN it starts revving
