Default 92-95 H22A MT into 88 prelude w/2.0 carb MT, are they the same motor mounts?

Wanting to swap an H22A Vtec with MT into my 88 prelude that has a 2.0 carb
motor with MT. I have heard it can be done because the mounts are the same. Is this true? When I purchase the H22A, I will get the tranny, ecm, wiring harness, and cv shafts. So I hope it won't be to difficult. if you have any suggestions I
would appreciate them. If you are wondering why i'm attempting this, it is for
my dirt track car. Yeah, i'm crazy.

Save your money and just buy a 4th gen VTec model.

the mounts are note even remotely clsoe to the same.
it iwll be VERY difficult compared to working with a 90 or newer accord or 92 up prelude.

if i was you i would go with something like a ford 2.3 engine for a dirt track car.

to my knowledge no h series is remotely easily swapped in there, i think a b20 is swapable? (from a crv) could be wring tho. that would still give you some torque, but h22's dont fit, nor are the mounts even reomtely similar. buy a shitty 92-95 eg shell or 92-96 bb2 shell, they should be relatively inexpensive and way more easy to swap that into.

the later B series is swappable to that car but you will need custom mounts since the early B series leans teh complete diff direction.

Any non stock engine will need custom mounts. And the H22 will fit but the mounts are NOT the same.

Search for the 3rd gen H22 swap thread on here. It's a VERY good starting point to at least let you make an informed decision about doing this swap...

I see you, or it is a reply link, someone who has done what I need to do (88 prelude si with Vtec). I need to find these motor mounts. Can you help me out.
I have e-mailed place racing but they have not e-mailed me back. I have heard
they are out of business even though their site says under construction. Do you know of anyone else?

Swap 88 Prelude body with B20A3 carb motor Manual Trans, with H22A motor
with Manual Trans, ecm, wiring harness, all sensors, and cv shafts.

you could always look at a newer civic (92-2k) to see if the b16 will fit. if it does, then you have your mounts. if not then you will have to have fun custom mounting.
