How do ya'll find buyers for your Civics that are swapped. Say..

Hatch w/ a K20 and the guy is selling it for 9k.. but no bank will finance a 3-4k car for 9k..

I'm assuming these people have to wait to find a buyer?

 

well...
you can tell them to go to any bank and get a loan for "home repairs " for 9k.
catch my drift...

You either
1. Part them out
2. Wait for someone with some money to buy them (eg, not highschool kids)
3. Sell them for less than they're worth.

 

Parting it out would be the best option. You can sell a hatch shell to an aweful lot of people. Find a nice RSX owner who can take the K20 off your hands when he blows his up.


Or you can sell the car as a package, you'll just have to wait for someone who has the money to buy it. I'd love to buy it, but I'm a highschool kid.

 

Ah alright, cuz I was planning on building up my hatch w/ about 10k and driving it around for a while because of no car payment and cheaper full coverage insurance.. was just curious how some of those people fetch higher prices.
