Default DA Bushings?

Hey everybody,

Here is the problem:

I have a 1990 Civic DX Hatch...I just payed for some 1990 Civic EX knuckles for the front, and have a RTA setup from a '98 GSR in the back. I want to use the LCA's from the GSR so I can bolt on the rear sway bar I have.

SO, in short, 1990 Civic EX knuckles, 1998 GSR RTAs and rear LCAs.

I want to buy an ES master kit. Do I go with the EF? or the DA? or a DC? None? All of the above? lol!

I really don't want to have to buy 3 different kits, or peace together a full kit buying individual bushings! Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

buy the ef kit for the car and the just the dc2 rear lca bushings. sell the rear ef bushings if you want. why not just use a differant swaybar instead? less headache.

the sway bar comes from a CRX...

the stock rear LCA doesn't have the hole to hook any sway bar up, which is why I would like to swap in the GSR one...

Is the DA kit and EF kit identical?

the part number is different for the shifter bushings as well, yet they are identical...

They are differen mostly because one is Acura and one is Honda from what I hear. What I have not heared, is if they master kits are identical or not.

No.

I tried to install EF rear lca bushings into DA control arms and it didn't work.
The bushing where the shock mounts to the lca is bigger on the DA.

also if you get a kit throw all the ball joint boots in the trash. They don't seal well at all especially the boots for the front uca.

You will need to measure the size of the bushing. One bushing is 3.1XX and the other is 3.3XX. So you will want to make sure you measure correctly.
