Removing 91 Accord front bumper
I have a 1991 accord, and I busted my headlight and need to put in a new one. I did this once before on my passenger side, and know I need to take off the bumper, but I can not find the book I used to show me where the bolts are. Does anyone know of a place online that shows where they are, or can anyone explain it. Thanks.
Your bumper should be on a couple of slide type things so it'll just slide off, you might have a problem removing the plastice clips that hold it on just underneath your grill and headlights. I had to change my headlight fixture recently too, but I just tore my bumper off cause I was in an accident and my front end was all messed up, so I'm not exactly sure on the removal procedure, what you can do is un-snap the clips from your splash guards inside the wheel well and pull the guard back, you should be able to see the slides. Now if you manage to get to the clips on the top side of your bumper be careful while removing them, they're expensive, and there's a lot of them there. I'm not positive but removing your grill might be easier that working around it, good luck and sorry I couldn't my advice wasn't the greatest.
I think you are supposed to take the whole bumper off, not just the cover. The main bolts holding it on are #36 in the link below. maybe some small screws holding the cover near wheel wells. That's all I can think of. Be carefull not to yank the blinker wires off.
