Default 92 prelude auto si. did jdm h22 swap 6 months ago, just now did the 5 speed swap. red lines @6200 an

92 PRELUDE SI H23 AUTO

DID THE SWAP TO THE JDM H22A VTECH 6 MONTHS AGO KEEPT AUTO TRANY VTECH WORKED THE WHOLE TIME AND REDLINE WAS 7200-7250 CUTOUT 120MPH.

JUST DID THE 5 SPEED SWAP CAME FROM AN ACORD H22 VTECH

KEPT THE SAME ECU FROM THE JDM AUTO SWAP

NOW I DONT HAVE NEAR THE POWER I SHOULD I CANT GET PASED 6200 RPM AND I DO NOT HAVE VTECH UNLESS HARD WIRED 12+ TO MOMRNTARY SWITCH ON SHIFTER TO VTECH SYLNOID <--- I KNOW I SHOULDN'T DO THIS BUT HAD TO TEST IT OUT) IT DOES WORK BUT AGIN NOWHERE NEAR THE SAME POWER INCREASE.

ANY HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM I KNOW IM JUST OVER LOOKING SOMETHING...

COME ON IF IT WERE A SNAKE IT WOULD HAVE BIT ME RIGHT.

umm just a guess... but did you swap the ECU's too....manual has a diff ecu. than the auto... and just FYI... VTEC... no H here.. its not the telephones...

the problem is you are running an automatic ECU with a manual tranny...change that ****...and get ready to be flames..b/c there isnt an H on theend of vtec

cliffs...

did h22 swap with automatic tranny, swapped h22 tranny, kept automatic ecu, now redlines at 6200 instead of the 8000 it should me...

Want to put a 92-95 h22A swap with MT in a 88 prelude that has the 2.0 carb
motor with MT. I have heard the motor mounts are the same. Is this true and how difficult.

doesn't matter though, the op already got his answer (needs a new ecu), and to the other guy, 3rd gen preludes came with B series motors.
