car sounds like a v8??
im posting this for my brother cuz he forgot his screen name..ok..so his ITR is now turbo and we just put new rc engineering 440cc saturated injectors..now it sounds like a v8? THIS IS UNTUNED BY THE WAY..is it because it is getting to much gas and not burning it all off?? the smoke is white and usually running rich is black..so is it the injectors that are making it run SO ruff?

um no its not..talk about blowing your engine..his set-up is a rev-hard log mani, t3/t04e turbo, tial 38mm wastegate, and 440cc saturated injectors..the injectors are made by RC engineering..but would it still be safe to drive it up there for tuning? or should we tow it?

Why dont you put his stock injectors back in to drive it for tuning then put the 440's in. I ran stock injectors for like amonth with my turbo installed because i couldnt tune yet, I just kept it in vacuum. And to answer your question, Yes, it is your injectors bogging your motor down that are making it sound like a v8, my teg has sounded like a v8 a few different times in the past.

no need to tow the car, replace with stock injectors, stock injectors can be modified to fit obd1 harness, replace with stock ecu, and most important REMOVE wastegate spring.. and... and.. thats it.. drive away to get it tuned. it won't go past 0psi without wastegate spring
