i would like to upgrade my ecu on my 2000 civic si
i want to use another one
but which one will connect and work with the existing wireing harness.
can i use a gsr obd2 ecu or a type r .
would the car run good

what do you have done that would require a different ecu/better tuning?
If its just a stock b16, your not going to see any gains by using a gsr/itr ecu.

it'll be better to convert to obd1 and run an engine managment like chrome,hondata.etc..
