The most anorexic EF on H-T
I was looking around for an E30 on this forum to start my next project, and found an interesting thread topic on e30tech.com, weird sounds alot like honda-tech...
Most Anorexic E30 List http://www.e30tech.com/forum/v...rexic
The lightest E30 on that board was 1874 lbs! That was with an '86 325i csl 2-door. I know we have some lightweight Honda's on here so post up your weights and specs. The only thread I know of like this is the "How extreme are you" thread which doesn't really have a consistent listing of weights.
Year/Model
Motor
Weight of car without driver
List of what weight reduction has been performed
Pictures optional
I'll start with my old honda
Year/Model: 88 Civic DX Hatch
Motor: B16 swap
Weighed: 1850 w/o a driver
Weight Reduction: Gutted interior, all door panels, carpeting, radio.

Show me what ya got! Beat my weight it won't be hard to beat my weight.

Year/Model: 88 CRX Ed9
Motor: B16A1 swap
Original Weight : 910kg
Weighed: 850kg w/o a driver
Weight Reduction: Gutted interior, carpeting, radio, changed lots of parts everywhere on the car for lighter ****. Even the wheel lugs. Gutted engine room for non needed crap.
Comment : but the styling took it up abit again though.

The E30 tech guys weighed the cars at the following places. Mine was weighed at Atco.
1. Grain elevator
2. Truck stop weigh station
3. Atco or similar dragstrip
4. Emissions stations I think have scales
5. Local Dump
6. Rock Quarry

there is a place by me that scraps metal, usually if you give the guy a $5 he wont care, but there are a couple places that wouldnt care either way and i think they leave their scales on all the time.
