1994 Honda Accord LX 4dr Help!!
Hi Guys,
I've been having problems with my horn in the last couple of months. It seems to go off on it's own when it's raining. I checked the fuse and nothing is wrong with it, checked the wires and they are all fine. Is there somewhere else I should be looking? I thought it was a freak incident the first time it happened, but twice in 2 months has got me worried. Can anyone please help me!!

You have a short somewhere and have to trace the wires from the button on the steering wheel to the horn located near the bumper. Try looking around the horn area first then around the button. I know you said you already did this but check again, it may just be a slight nick out of the protective cover and when the wire moves around just right it grounds itself and you have a horn response.
Checked everything out and everything seems fine. I even brought it to a dealership and they said they can't find anything wrong. They think that it maybe a defective relay. I've had the car for 5 years so why would it act up now. Any other suggestions?
Does the Accord have 2 horns?..it looks like there is..

did you replace the horn ? if you say its only when it rains. check the wire were the horns are at. i have a 91 accord and they come with 2 horns so im guessing yours does 2.

you might have to change the horn cause that was what i had to do and it worked fine after. but make sure that you look at both the horns wires if they look rusty then take out the wires and clean them and the contact to the horn. a horn in autozone is $10 each
Instead of wasting money on parts that may not be needed get your good ol garden hose and blast the heck out of the horn and all the wires leading out of it in the engine bay. You should be able to find the broken wire that way.
Looks like theres no need to do that. It's raining at this moment and it just went off while it was parked in my driveway!! So I checked it out. It's the second horn on the left (facing the car). I unplugged it and it stopped. Is that connected to anything else besides the horn?
