Default For all you Retrofitters out there. TSX Color mod. and TSX Hybrid Projector

Well i was playing with some TSX's that i have for a customer. and i decided to play with them some. I started with the basic washers. and i had some Projectors Lying around off Misc vehicles. and i found 2 projectors that fit into the TSX's Groove. One was a High beam projector and the other was a Lowbeam projector.

Here are the results.

STOCK:

1 Washer on the bottom Nipples :

1 washer on the bottom 2 nipples and 2 washers on top

TSX with Low beam Hybrid Projector

TSX with High Beam Hybrid with 4 washers on Top and Bottom

TSX with High Beam Hybrid with 6 washers on Top and Bottom

TSX with High beam Hybrid with 8 washers on top and Bottom

What the hell are you all talking about? He's just modifying OEM HID Projectors for retrofits.

Good Research Care to share what "hybrid" projector was used?

Personally I would pick "TSX with High beam Hybrid with 8 washers on top and Bottom"

Learn more about HID Retrofits here: HIDplanet

hes adding color to the cutoff by adding washers...not trying to make it brighter. Take notice of the cutoffs along the wall of the high and low beams.

Modding them alters the cutoff. Depending on how many washers you use and where, you get more blue, mroe rainbow, more purple, etc in your cutoff. You can also get a sharper cutoff like you see in the pics. it's mostly juse aesthetics.

But that's a whole lotta pimp aesthetics
