ive got a 93si and before i bought the car, i guess some chick with a boat on the hitch backed into it. as a result, theres a good size creased dent in the actual hatch door, the piece that folds down (tail gate). I cant for the life of me find one on eday or anywhere and im planning on painting my car. i know ill get flammed if i ask if i should just hammer it out and bondo the **** out of it. what would you do?

 

I would look in junkyards or post in the WTB forum.

 

yea post in the wtb seems like you could find one with ppl getting carbon fiber hatches

did the dent affect the structural integrity of the hatch?

 

im selling mine for $50.00 without hte cable that holds it .. and lights.. but comes with the wierd black stuff on the back side.. has a small dent like bottle cap size

i picked one up at a junkyard for my friends 92 for $25. thats where i would check first.

 

thank you guys for the help, carbon fiber is cool and all, i just have other stuff id rather spend half a g on. i was hoping for a semi decent one for like 30 bucks. thats 30 bucks toward your guys carbon ones

Or if you got the cash look into getting a cf one will run u between 200 and 300 but it'll look really good.
