i posted this because i'm trying to decide whether i will go w/ a 17x7.5 w/ 45 tire or an 18x7.5 w/ a 40 tire.
i've seen a couple 18s but i'm not sure if i can do 35.
for example...
the Wedsport wheels on this black 5th gen; can't tell if it's a 17in or 18in wheel.

but the wheels on this white one look like they're 18s w/ a 35 tire.

i'm trying to accomplish what this guy did w/ the ADVAN RGs.

just right. i can't tell if they're 17s or 18s. no, i won't be getting the same wheels as him.

I believe they are 17s, they look really nice though.
Now, I dont know if you're more into show or performance. me personally wouldn't go bigger than 17 on my lude.

that's my biggest concern. i'm not so worried about camber because i have a full TEIN setup w/ Ingalls camber kits on all fours. the car is still on its stock wheels, isn't slammed, and i don't plan on slamming it either. just getting rid of the wheel gap.
i don't plan on going turbo or supercharging the car so i have to make due w/ the motor. i'm pretty set on going w/ a 17in wheel. 18 just seems like it would drag.
i did the same thing w/ my TL. i bought some Enkei RPF1 wheels for it in the 17in (same size as OEM TL wheels), but then decided to get another set of wheels for it as well. 19in AXIS Hiro. those are mainly for show. but i could feel the difference in handling and acceleration between the 2 sets of wheels. obviously, the 17s were leightweight and handled a lot better than the 19s.
