Default Alameda County Car Auction? Good? or Bad?

I'm thinking about purchasing a car from them, does anyone have any experience buying cars from auctions? Any tips?

If you need tips, you should not be going to an auction.

The question to ask is why these cars are not selling through normal dealer channels?

Cars in acution are usually cars with problems. Plus, you do not get to test drive them, which is a big NO NO.
