Default Car cover and water

Do you think it's a wise idea to put on my car cover when my car is wet? It's raining right now and I really want to put on the car cover (OEM car cover), but I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not. Any input is appreciated.

arent the OEM car covers just dust covers? Or is that just for the S2ks?

Most car covers that are worth anything are breathable.

If this applies, go ahead and put in on wet. My recommendation is to remove some of the water off the car if possible before doing so.
