you should get 50 a 45 side wall would be extremely small and a big drop would probably still leave room around the wheel or the car would be scrapin the ground

Who makes a 195/45/14 anyway? I've been lookin' for a low-pro 14" tire.

Toyo T1-S. i know there is a performance advantage when having shorter sidewalls on larger rims, but i was wondering if the same goes for my 14's. but somebody just told me that the ride would be bouncy, is this true?

That performance advantage occurs when you use a "plus one" or "plus two" fitment, in which you use wheels that are larger than stock. You shouldn't use shorter sidewalls on stock-sized rims.

You can get the Yokohama AVS ES100 tire in 185/60-14, which is the proper size for your car, and is a pretty good performance tire. It's also reasonably priced, at $67/tire at the Tire Rack.

The Toyo T1-S is being discontinued, and you shouldn't buy a discontinued tire. The Toyo T1-R is available in 195/55-14, whose sidewall height and outer diameter are okay for your car, but that size may be too wide for your rims. I think you're better off with the ES100 in 185/60-14.
