Default Bearing size and crank specs on all motor buld

I am currently building an 85mm long rod ls vtec with crower rods etc etc.
I plan on using honda bearings but how do i determine what size to use when the rods have no number? I am going to plastigauge the motor but where do i start on choosing the right bearing size?
Also should i so anything to the crank? I want to use honda bearings so i don't plan on cutting it, how about a light polish? I have a selection of cranks to choose from but where can i measure them to determine if it is a b16, ls or gsr?
thanks brian
