Default what model civic do i have

i bought a civic this last weekend for $400 and this car is mint no dings or dent or rust but what model is it its red like the si's but it has vinle seats a 4sp trans no rear whiper or any tags on the back but is has ac
i also have an 89 si so i plan on swaping over everything from motor to sway bars oh yea the civic i just picked up is also a 89 thanks

just cuz its a 4 speed, im going to guess its an std, (60ish hp, dpfi)

its most likley an STD

from what it sounds like

so i have std thats great
now my next ? is i have a zc vtec and an 89 si trans i want to swap into it no how do i go about wiring it i have everything form the 89 si and i also have a 95 ex with a full wire harness with this to cars can i wire it up with out a problem thanks for all the help

Yes the sohc vtec ZC exists..Its basically the same thing as the D16z6 engine

Well the best thing to do would be convert your car over to obd1 and run maybe p28 ecu..Or you can stay pre obd and do something like a pm6 chipped with turboedit with stock sohc vtec maps and one wire vtec setup and rig up a pre obd distributor to fit the engine..Theres a couple different choices..
