Is this a b16a2 thermostat housing, or D series?

Is this a b16a2 thermostat housing, or D series?
Shouldn't there be 3 lines coming out instead of 2? The one I am missing is the small one that goes up to the metal tube and then back down to the bung on return neck that goes to top of radiator, which I have capped off for now. Thanks if anyone can help me out.
