The Type R one is significantly lighter. It's made out of Alumintanium, which is a cross between aluminum and titanium which makes it stronger and lighter at the same time. That's all encased in a carbon fibre monocoque shell to provide a significantly lighter assembly thus making the Type R as fast as it is.

I don't know the exact flow numbers, but if I'm not mistaken it's floating around on HT somewhere. Problem is, I don't know what key words to search for.
