Default autometer shift light install???

hey, there are three wires. black red and green

black = ground
red = 12v
green = ignition coil

right?

just need to know what color wire on the ignition coil?

yes.

or you can connect the green wire to your o2 sensor wire...i think it's the white wire.

^ really? i never heard that u can connect a shift light to an o2 sensory, i had my old shift light hooked up to my coil, so i think im just gonna do it like that.. but dam for the life of me cant remember wich wire on the coil....

Hes probably gunna say because you can tell by the sound of the engine or just by glancing down for a second. But a second going 100+ is too damn long. 5 inch tachs with shiftlights are gay, just the shift light alone is straight

To answer your question, on the 4th gen lude, its the blue wire all the way to the passenger side, and I believe it was the same when I owned my 5th gen. I'll try to find a pic of it for you

well i finally figured it out my self, and here is where i tapped into:....
on the dizzy, there is 2 connectors, one has a few wires and the other has a thick yellow and a blue one, i spliced the blue one and hooked up my green wire from the light to that...and hooked up the black and red, at the same place where my radio is...and voila...
this is on a 97 h22 prelude...hope this helps
