Default TB's IM's FITV IACV and HoNdAta!!!!

Hey guys, I am in need of a little education/ advice. For starters I have a 95 gsr TB with JG Edelbrock IM. Now since ive gotten that IM on my car, the IACV or THE FITV went out. Could this have anything to do with the edelbrock IM? I got idle where it goes from 3500 or so then back down to 1000 then keeps bouncing, annoying as hell so i unlplugged that one thing by the IM that will make it kinda stutter at 1500 rpm.
Anyways, i did the check this morning on it by putting my finger over the hole where the TB is. It is located on the lower left hand side. As soon as i did that idle was perfect again. From knowing this, what do i need to replace?

My other question is, can i just get the JG edelbrock TB because my friend says that it eliminates the need for FITV OR IACV. But i hear that you can not get it with hondata s200b. It wont throw the right voltage or something like that. can anyone clear this up and tell me what my options are?

Thanks

Try removing the fast idle valve, taking off the plate on the end, and turning the valve in clockwise as far as it will go. Sometimes the valve will work it's way loose, worth a shot.

so is getting the edelbrock tb a way to go? does it increase power much? that block off plate seems like a good idea

I cant prove if it increase power because I put everything on all at once, and I did not dyno it. the blockoff plate might work. but since my issue seems to be the map sensor or ecu cause mine only idle erratic after I ran it hard. so I couln't tell. but it might work for you

Bad idle isnt a secret watch for leak. Too much air at idle.

I checked and changed everything. from intake manifold to throttle body,to IM gasket, and TB gaskets, to IACV's vac lines, o rings, timing head gaskets. as a matter of fact it also did it with my stock map sensor. so it aint the map sensor after all. I tried 3 IACVs. it started after I installed the turbo, I was thinking the turbo has 48ar maybe it was letting in too much air at ilde, now I have a sc61 lets see if this will change it. I plan to try my friend hondata s300 to see if its my ecu, or use his uberdata tune. I am lost with it, so thats why I gave up, becuase the car runs perfect, it just idle like **** when it warm.

has anyone tried playing with your IACV duty on the hondata?

When you plug the hole inside the TB, if that solves the issue then whatever the hole leads to is your problem.

One hole is for the FITV, the other is for IACV.

One of those two bad boys are your problem. Sounds like a leak maybe AT the block off plate for the FITV?????????

Also check your hondata settings for the IACV. This ups the rpms when something electrical kicks on like AC, lights, etc....

as a matter of fact i just removed the lower portion of the throttle body, the FITV i think. it looks like there is a piece that should be attatched to metal vac type of line it. should this be attatched? if so then i am goign to open it up and attach it, that seeems like a vac leak to me

coolant would flow through that, but now since you've bypassed the coolant lines around the FITV, that hose barb is now a vacuum leak!!!

I would get rid of the FITV that you just fixed. I have so much vibration the plastic piece wiggled loose immediately after I screwed it back in.
