Question about rims/tires... Cntrl + F yielded little.
Quickly...
I was looking for some winter rims and tires. I want to make sure of fitment. Something to beat the hell outta. I'm also needing to get my ssr comps repaired (stupid I-264 speedbumps).
Basically...
What would youse guys recommend for a cheap setup... I'm trying to get at little or no (relative) cost. Just want to something to rip the hell outta till it warms up.
Thanks in advance...
oh, and I really don't care what they look like.
-edit-
If mods need to move... then so be it. I kinda wanted some "wheel" world expertise from the R peeps.

PM uNF$@#! According to the signature, he's selling Millenia's for a good price with Azenis. Granted, you won't use the tires in the winter.
Plus, if you need to sell the wheels, you'll basically be able go let them go for what you bought them for to autocrosseR's.

The offset is fine, Id just get some 195/55 or 195/60 tires though. The CRV 205/70 tires would be too tall.
There are usually CRV steelies on ebay for $100ish.

PuRfection... CRV steelies it will be. I will also look for some used or cheap enough winter-like tires. Thanks a bunch.
Would CRV steelies be the best (cheapest) solution? If anyone has some to dump... let me know. Are the CRV rims 15"?

I'm not sure if you're ooking for dedicated winter tires or simply an "all-season" setup, but Discount Tire has 205/50-15 Hankook W404's for $69 each including free shipping. I'm running a set on my GLI and they are excellent in ice/snow.

Even when you're shopping for used stuff, it's helpful to know what new stuff costs, by way of comparison.
Wheels - You can get 15" steelies from the Tire Rack for $42 each, but they're sold out for the season.
Tires - The least expensive winter tire at the Tire Rack is the Dunlop Graspic DS-2, $70/tire in 195/55-15 (but with shipping, that Hankook deal from Discount Tire is better). If you're looking for all-season tires, the Kumho Ecsta ASX in 195/55-15 is $65/tire plus shipping, also at the Tire Rack, or you could get the Falken Ziex ZE-512 in 195/55-15 for $62/tire plus shipping at Vulcan.
I'm sure you already know that the winter tires will perform much better when it's snowing or frigid cold, and the all-season tires will perform better when it's not so cold or snowy. Given your location, either one might be a viable choice for winter-only driving.
