Turbo Charged h22a. What Oil Grade do you use.

Default Turbo Charged h22a. What Oil Grade do you use.

I have rebuilted the bottom end of my motor. and turbo charged my car with a full race staged 3 turbo kit. I know the stock prelude uses 5w30 and 10w30. What kinda oil do you use in your Turbo prelude. and do you have any problems are do u like it.

I woudl say 5w30 should still be fine.

I wouldn't change if i were you.

the block in my car is not stock. its a bored , slived , and has a compression 9:5.1. I was tolded to use 10W40. I just wanna get other opinions on what oil to use.

5w30 or 10w30 should be fine. Use synthetic (Amsoil or Mobil, etc).

I can't believe anyone with such poor grammar would have enough money to "rebuitled and slive" a motor and turbo it.

It largely depends on your main/rod bearing clearances..

My clearances are on the loose side of the factory recommendations, and I run 5w40 or 15w40 depending on the time of the year..
