Default Turbo H22a problem????????????????

I have a turboed H22a in my 92 prelude and the problem is that I finally got everything completed and went to drive it and I couldn't get the car past 2200 rpm's I can't figure out the problem Im thinking it might be my Ecu the entire swap was bought from a friend of mine excluding the motor he had a turbo H22a in his civic and the parts i got from him were as followed a t3/t4 turbo manifold and turbo intercooler walbore 255 fuel pump AEM fuel pressure regulator p28 ecu tuned with hondata with boost option full throttle shift and launch control. a Nology ignition ampilfier and oil catch can. Does anyone have any Idea what the problem is I don't get any blue or white smoke out the tail pipe and the car runs and Ide's perfect. I didn't do a compression test yet but I don't think its a motor problem please help.

Describe the problem, Why can't you get it past 2200 rpms, does it feel like fuel cut, bogging down, cuts off or what?

Hm.

While the vehicle is in neutral, can you rev past 2200?

I kinda have the same problem. When I hits about 5500 rpms it, I guess i would say, it bogs and the car front end goes foward. I'm thinkin it might be the stock ECU and/or stock fuel system. Ideas?

I say get the hondata s300 - s200 is outdated....still works fine, but the s300 is the future i guess. Have it professionally tuned also - you will gain a lot of whp that way.

s300 doesn't seem to bad. That is also the problem, I never had the car tuned yet since the turbo kit. That is the next thing after I upgrade the ECU. Thanks man.

Did you install the s300 yourself? or someone else? I just read the "Details on preparing the ECU" and you have to De-solder and solder stuff on the ECU. I'm not good with that kind of stuff.

I purchased mine ready to go. All i did was replaced the factory ecu and plugged in the USB cable.........if you go to the sponsor marketplace, you can find them all ready to go - or you can buy them not socketed and precisionh23a will do it for a small fee.

Link to the ready to go in the sponsor marketplace? I looked all over can't seem to find one. Also what is your setup? You said you just plugged it in? You have anything modded? I believe I have a 3 bar Map sensor. Does that make a difference?

The s300 has options for many different map sensors - just chose which one you're using and tune the baby. I'll find a link - hold on one sec.

Maybe you should check your boost cut. I know there's an option in hondata - just make sure you didn't accidentally set it at 1psi or something.

Those guys sell them. Ask them for a hondata s300 already socketed and everything. Price should be around $700 - i paid $717 with the p28 ecu and everything shipped.

I was having these sort of problems with my h22 hybrid coupe, the first time a simple tune up took care of the problem, and then the second time I discovered that a wire running into my TPS sensor was cut.

What kind you talking about? Plugs, wires, etc....that kind of tune up? Or do you mean Dyno Tune? I know I just have to get my car tuned by a dyno guy.

U know what it is it's your launch control option. Mine was doing the same thing but at 3300 rpm and in any gear it was not going past that. Here's what I did I had an extra cable dangling and we had noticed that in one of the jumper cables it had an open spot so we connected the cable into the jumper harness. SO basically look through your engine bay, mine was just underneath the intake and on top of the tranny, locate and try to find a wire harness to jump it into. Or have your friend who had the setup before you help you determine what jumper to plug it into.
