but in regards to your question... what car does it say its for??

i mean if you bought it for a db8 or something it wouldnt work without modification..

either way.. if it fits on your car with the dseries.. any reputable exahust shop could make it fit the b series

the exhaust is gonna be for a 96-00 civic but sum of the civics cat converter is under the car and sum is right under the headers.

from what i have heard... anything but the ex model has the cat in the header... the ex has the header with cat underneath.. but i think they are the same length... anyway... most of the 92-00 exhausts are the same it just varies a little.. but it should be just a minor job ($25-50) for a shop to get it working if it doesnt bolt up.. i am not sure since i dont have or have ever seen the exhaust

so when you bought the exhaust it just says 96-00 hatch.

i know when the cat is in the mani, the flange where the "cat back" would bolt up is a a 2 bolt flange, so youll need to have cut that flange off of the cat back and have a 2 bolt flange welded on. also, youll need a piece made, kind liek a test pipe, but shorter since the length of the mani is only as long as an ex mani to the cat. since your header is elminating the cat youll need to also get an o2 simulator, or have your ecu flashed to have the cel removed. With that the header will be the same length as you stock mani and haveing a 2 bolt flange welded on with thus eliminate your problem

another solution is to but the ex mani and cat set up, and no cutting and welding, just rusted bolts, lots of swearing! In some areas it is illegal to relocate the postion of the cat. That way when you buy a header, an ex header it will bolt right up to the cat, which will boly up to the cat.

solved

yo i got an apexi n1 exhaust for that hatches but you can't fit a catalytic converter and if you swap to b-series you gotta use the b16 header to make it fit.

i have an apexi ws exhaust on mine. get a unversal cataltic converter from kragen (direct fit model from a 92-95 application) and put it on. only thing is that you will need to drill a hole for a second o2 sensor and extend your o2 sensors if you want to use them. or just unplug them and let your check light comes on.
