Default maintenance

hey guys i just bought a 94 civic ex with 166k miles for the winter i am just wondering if it is due for any sort of maintenace i should do for it to keep it nice and reliable.

If it hasnt had one already i would do a timing belt and waterpump change. Also it never hurts to do a full tune up as well.

If the timing belt and water pump were done on schedule, then you have till about 200k before they need done again.

Also, check your spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, air cleaner, fuel filter.
Those are regular maintance items.

When you get a used car,it is always a good idea to strip as many parts as possible apart so you can have a clear image of the condition the vehicle is in.That way you can find out more about the car itself (hidden rust etc) ,and learn how everything works.I recommend you dedicate a weekend to your new car(it takes time).You ll both feel better when youre done.

yea schedule a date and take her out to eat, hey you might even get some at the end of the night, lol
