Car Deck Question
I was looking at the 2002 accord and realized that they have a very large deck....what kind of after market decks fit into a space so large. I mean how do you really make it look nice since you can't get a normal deck put into the accord?
i think it would use a headunit that is a 2 DIN size, most headunits are only 1 DIN. I think you could get a very cool one for that car. if you wanted to use a regular 1 din headunit in that car you could probobly cover the extra space with a carbon fiber panel cut to fit. someone correct me if im wrong
or you could get a 1 DIN radio and a 1 DIN equalizer. Places like Crutchfield.com (while overpriced) will be able to tell you what you can and can't do, as well as provide you the right mounts, covers, etc. to do it yourself.
Thanks guys, my girlfriend has this car (or will in a few days) and she took her old deck out of her 2000 Elentra.
I appreciate the advise but I do not know how well an equalizer would actually look in the car, maybe a custom fitted dash would be a little more sleek then to go all out with the equalizer. Anyone know of any place that might do something like that and which one do you think would be a cheaper route to go (I'm trying to place value on both money and style).
Thanks.
