Due to my rings failing in my current D15b7 I need/want a new block.

Possibly a D16 serises? Whatever is best? I am keeping the d15b7 Head because its 1 week old with Brand new valves retainters etc... and P&P'd

This car is my daily driver so i am not going to turbo it, I may raise the compression, use a D16y8 head gasket, and possibly milled.

Id like the bottom end to be low mileage with pistons,rods,crank etc... but if anything, ill get oversized rings and hone the cylinders. I just need a back up so I can gett he bottom end rebuilt, then wen im ready to slap it in, I can do it in a few hours, instead of ripping my current motor out, and then trying to put new rings in it etc..... Itll be more convient for me so I dont have to walk to work if I have the bottom end ready to install.
