Default 5 lug the cheap way!?!

I was wondering is there anyway the CRV or odessey hubs will fit on my hatchback. I heard people talking about it but never really seen it done so i was wondering if anybody can clarify this for me.

I also have a chance to buy USDM ITR hubs, what else would i need(parts) to complete the set and will it be cheaper???

Thanks in Advance!!!

you will need the whole knuckle to do the fronts using the ITR parts. you should try to get the whole trail arm assy. for the rears to do it right. that is how i did the 5 lug on my hatch.

I was talking to a fellow HT member(LsVtakYO) he told me that he used the type r hubs in the front along with usdm rotors/itr knuckle on the back he used the itr hub and rotor but not the trailing arm.

street_racer_NC how much all together do you think you spent on the whole setup. And why do you suggest using the trailing arm assy?

And by the way thanks to everyone whos been helpinjg me out.

trailing arm would just bolt in...i think... never done the swap or read up on it.. but i swapped trailing arms to get rear disc... saving a lot of work

Yea it would just bolt in but if it not necessary i'd rather not spend the money but if it is a safety issue i'll get on... I probably might just purcahse the trailing arm so i can have all new parts.

Where are any good sites were i can purchase these parts. Right now im looking at discountautoparts.com they seem to have everything im looking for.

all you need are the hubs including rotors and calipers. brake cables from an integra or si civic.

knuckle for the front as well.

Cool...

How much do the calipers(itr) usually go for?

Also if this is cheap and good way to upgrade your brakes why don't a lot of people do it??? Or am i broke and everybody is a baller...lol

I tried finding the ITR hubs at different auotparts places with no luck. the prices I've seen lead me to believe its cheaper to buy a complete ITR 5-lug swap than to piece it together. I'm going to try crv front knuckle assemblies and ITR rear hubs and rotors. then make brackets to move the stock caliper into place. If it works, I'll only have about $400-$500 in the 5-lug then buy wheels.

..... i just found out from my buddies dad that he can convert my stock hub to 5 lug. He's a teacher at the local collage and has access to cool machining tools.

He also has done it for many mustangs rwd pre 1993 models that only came with 4lug because they would have issues with lugs brakeing..

he said it would probably charge me $50 per hub... comes with new studs too. extended studs is $10 extra..

I'll be the first to try it on my honda
