vtec...oil pressure
when you hit vtec, i know oil pressure is sappose to drop, but is it sappose to drop and go crazy? Mine goes from bout 80psi to 50psi but its drops and then bounces between 50 and 75 all threw vtec. Any one have an explenation for that?

I usually have about 75-80psi of oil pressure before the vtec change over. Once it switches it drops about 10-15psi (approx) then quickly rises back to 75-80psi. As long as throttle is constant it seems to be smooth, only dropping a little during the change over then quickly recovering.
