Default Overheating!?

Last night while I was headed downtown in my '93 civic coupe. I noticed out of nowhere my temp gauge was rising like hell!? But I just changed the water pump, thermostat, and the radiator back in May... Since then no problems, but I just changed to a Spoon Radiator cap 2 days ago? Finally, what I also noticed was that when the overheating had all clear...Only smoke and coolant was coming from where the hose connects the intake manifold to the engine block I'm assuming. ANY info or help would be very needed! For now I'm going to change the thermostat in a few minutes.

If it's leaking coolant at the hose connection point, then that is cause of the overheating. The cooling system needs to be pressurized to work properly.
