Default questions on my setup pls help

Hello!

First of all I wish you all a happy new year!
Second, I have some questions on my setup I hope you can help me out. I know this has been talked about a lot, but maybe not with this setup and not with this specific questions so pls take it easy on me

I live in Hungary and I have now a bone stock 1998 EDM ITR DC2 B18C6 and I feel the time has come to upgrade her a little
My plans are as follows:

Comptech Icebox or AEM CAI ITR 3"
Hondata heatshield + TB coolant bypass mod
SMSP full exhaust system
Buddy Club Spec 3+ cams w/ cam gears
P28 ECU + Crome Pro + Ostrich

The car is and will be a daily driver. My aim here is to get some pretty hp gains throughout the power band, while staying na with stock internals. The car is also tracked a few times a year.

Now my questions:
1. any general opinions about the abovementioned setup, is it good or bad, what would you change in it considering my goal.
2. as a rough estimate what whp numbers you think I will get? 50000 miles on the engine, good compression check. The car will be dyno tuned of course. Anybody has similar setup whats your numbers please?
3. will I be able to use the stock ITR valvetrain with the Spec 3+? I read very different opinions on this. My engine has JDM-like 11.1:1 cr and I'm staying within the stock rev limits.
4. will I benefit from a headwork with this mild cam? If so how much?
5. will the stock injector size be adequate for the setup or do I need to upgrade them? If so which one would you recommend?
6. will the stock clutch be adequate for the setup or do I need to upgrade them too? If so which one would you recommend?

I know that's hella lot of questions so any help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

go with an AEM short ram 3" intake, add some valvesprings & retainers to that list (i like supertech), and change all that management to hondata S300. i've tunedprobably 60 cars on crome, and it's good, but S300 blows it all away. you get all the software with it, plus you get load sensitive vtec engagement, so that big vtec lobe won't try to engage on narrow throttle.

smsp or rmf header-back exhaust will be just right.

the last car i tuned similar to your setup was a usdm B18C5 type-r w/ JUN 3 cams, dc jdm itr header, rs-r exmag-II exhaust (VERY unrestrictive), etc.. and it was making 186 with an ARC intake (~$750), we took it off, put on a $15 autozone 3" short ram, and it instantly jumped to 193, then i fine tuned it to 196. this was on a dynojet.

so good luck

oh, and get some RC ~370cc injectors (440's will work just fine)

on the intake, i'd just go with the short ram, and run some ducting up to it from the front. this will help a bit. might sound ghetto, but i know how to make power on a honda

Thx for your reply. I might be wrong but load sensitive vtec engagement can be done in Crome too using the "Advance Tables" feature.

Interesting opinion on the intake you have. I just thought quite the opposite that CAI intakes are better than short rams in general. 7 hp gain just by changing the intake...very interesting.

Considering the valvetrain you say that the stock valves are good but I should change the springs and retainers right?

There aren't any so-called tuners here in Hungary. I'll do everything by myself and with some help from my friend who knows Crome pretty well.

Any other opinions?
